Why QR codes “expire”
A QR code is a picture of some data. By itself it can't expire. What expires is the service behind it.
Many generators hand you a dynamic code by default: the pattern holds their short link, and their server forwards scans to your site. When the free trial ends, the forwarding stops and your printed menus and flyers lead to a payment page instead.

Yes. Pro is $4.99 once and Dynamic is $9.99 once. There is no renewal, and no card is kept on file.
Do I need an account?
No. Free codes need nothing. Paid tiers give you a license key that works as your login on any device.
Is there a watermark?

What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code contains your data directly and can't be changed. A dynamic code contains a short qrnever.com link that redirects to a destination you can edit, and it lets you count scans.
